Somewhat Vortex, the debut poetry collection by Orla Martin (moi), published by Salmon Poetry, was launched at the Irish Writers Centre in Dublin on Wednesday 15th November 2023 and it was a really wonderful event! My collection was launched by poet and former Poet in Residence with Poetry Ireland, Anne Tannam, who is also known to many poets as an amazing person and poet. Representing Salmon Poetry was another incredible poet Patrick Chapman and guest performance was courtesy of actor and theatre director Margaret Martin, who is also my Mum. We are family, and so on.
